My husband and I went here after visiting The Great Sand Dunes. Honestly, I was a little nervous at first since it seemed it might be slow but I had nothing to worry about. The service was a little slow but it appeared that there was only one waitress while we were there. They had an awesome salad bar that was packed with different things. My husband ordered chicken fingers and they were honestly the best I have ever had. I had the Navajo taco and the chile served over it was surprisenly awesome! Make sure you taste test their fudge. It's awesome and you won't be sorry. :)

Great little restaurant to stop at after spending a day at The Dunes. The pizza is great, the cal-zones are excellent, the Mexican food is just ok. Oh, and my four year old approved of the chicken and french fries. The prices are reasonable. The service is decent, I don't think it's anything to write home about, but I always get a good meal when I go in hungry. Mission accomplished.

Beware.... Horrible service. Looked up this restaurant on yelp and saw 4 out of 5 stars so decided to eat there. The staff seems to be annoyed by having to do their job. Waitress was rude and impatient. We told her we needed time to look over the menu and she had an attitude about that. I ordered a pizza and she asked if I wanted it thick or thin. My question was how thick is thick? She responded with an attitude and said, "Well I mean it's just like regular pizza." I pointed to the couple next to us and tried to ask if what they had was thick. I couldn't even get the question out before she was over talking me. I would of been a little more understanding if she was rushing us because she had a lot of people to wait on but we had more people with us than there was in the whole restaurant. I hope that they were just rude people and not racist. They seemed to be attentive to the other 6 people that were there. The pizza is NOT worth their attitude, the crust was bland and under cooked.

All-Gon! Everything on my plate was all gone after they set it down in front of me. This is a great little ma and pa restaurant located along a stretch of road in southern Colorado, and a perfect spot for a lunch break. They have a little bit of everything here including some pretty awesome pizza and calzones, and an Italian and Mexican selection. The menu, IMO, is what you would find in any small town restaurant, and includes the basics like soups, salads, burgers, sandwiches. I opted for the small personal size pepperoni pizza and a small chef salad. It was perfect; it came out pipping hot and loaded with pepperoni. The salad was a typical chef salad with iceberg lettuce, but had some great fresh toppings on it. I thoroughly enjoyed them both. Some friends had similar meals and a couple of them took a trip to the all-you-can-eat salad bar. I glanced at the salad bar and it was loaded with items. With all this you also get great service and a friendly hello. We all left full and happy with plenty of money still in our wallets. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area. Everything about this place was great.

Wonderful place. Wonderful staff. Stopped in on the motorcycle after being nearly frozen by the San Luis Valley in January. Finally remembered to write a review. Had a burger and two bowls of the best French Onion Soup ever. I look forward to stopping in again the next time I pass that way.

I don't know why people swear by this pizza. It's not that great. Maybe it's because I'm from the northeast and we have the best pizza ever? I don't know.... But this place just isn't that good. It's just the only place around! So do I recommend it? Yes... But only because there's no other place to go. Don't worry, it's good, just not that good. Kind staff at least.

Not many choices in Fort Garland, CO. This place is pretty good though. The food is great! Service wasn't very good, but maybe our guy was new. But definitely must eat here if you're in that part.

Great hospitality, slim pickings in the area. Pizza and pasta was good stay clear of the Mexican. We got some fudge and it was good too, over all a good stop if your starving and decent food.

Having late lunch here after long driving to try to get to Great Sand Dune NP. Niece had personal margarita pizza, hubby had burger, and I had Philly cheese steak calzone. It took a while to have our meal to come, but it was worth the wait. We also shared one desert, ( mexican something, forget the name...) it had deep fried pastry base with ice creme on top. Very good combination! They also sell home made fudge with lots of different favors. It's good for on the road, too.

This restaurant was recommended to us by a park ranger at Great Sand Dunes NP. He was dead on! The fare was Italian and very good. I had a deep dish veggie pizza. What set this joint apart from other in-out roadside restaurants was: - strong local flavor - really nice salad bar with much more than iceberg lettuce and bottled dressings - home made fudge and candies - a piano for the kids to bang on - good soups, especially the onion I hope next time we visit this corner of Colorado that we can stop here again.

We stumbled on this place on the way to Great Sand Dunes National Park. What a find! Great menu, not just Pizza, which was good too. Very decent soup and salad bar. Like home cooking, wholesome tasty. Comfortable, friendly. Very very cheap prices. Do yourself a favor and stop here!!!

Off the beaten path, we came across this place after hiking all day. It was the only place open late (til 9p). We enjoyed some pizza, and it was pretty good! However, there was also pasta on the menu among some of the usual bar food. There was a choice of thick or thin crust and some unique pizza toppings to choose from. The restaurant had a homey, family feel to it. There was even a piano that anyone was invited to play. Service was great.
